At MetalHaus Containers, we understand that a shipping container is a major investment. We are committed to a transparent, fair, and stress-free process if your plans change.

Return Policy

Return Window: 14 Days from delivery.

Return Method: By Mail / Freight.

Return Fees: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Restocking/Cancellation Fee: Up to 50% for customized orders or late cancellations.

Product Condition: Must be in original delivered condition.

1. Order Cancellations

We offer tiered refund options based on how much work has already been dedicated to your order:
Within 7 Days of Order: Eligible for a 100% full refund of your deposit.
Within 30 Days of Delivery: Eligible for a 50% refund of the total price. Costs for custom modifications already performed will be deducted.
Within 14 Days of Delivery: Not eligible for a refund, as logistics and labor have been fully committed.

2. Customizations & Upgrades

Custom modifications (doors, windows, insulation, etc.) require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure materials.
The remaining balance is due upon delivery.
Once production on custom work begins, changes may incur additional costs.

3. Returns Upon Delivery

If your container arrives damaged, does not match agreed specifications, or is otherwise unsatisfactory:

Window: You must request a return within 14 days of delivery.

Condition: The container must be returned in the same condition it was delivered.

Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for all return transportation and logistics costs.

Inspection: We encourage a thorough inspection upon delivery. Please report any discrepancies to the driver immediately to expedite your claim.

Non-Returnable Items: Certain items are non-returnable, including:
– Custom-built or special order containers
– Containers that have been modified or altered after delivery
– Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error

Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund within 10 business days of approval:
Check Your Bank Account: It may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Contact Your Credit Card Company: There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Damaged or Defective container
If you receive a container that is damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at info@metalhauscontainersllc.com. We will work with you to arrange for a return and refund as appropriate.
